thats a feature you have to pay for.

but theres no telling if att will be able to tell you are using tethering/hotspot. i tried it for a brief time just to see if it worked and it did but i havent tethered since.

Tried it, said active then no users and shut itself off.

after adding it did you reboot the phone? i had to before it worked then i was able to connect an iphone and my netbook.
