Is there a way to transfer ONLY the starred favorites or some other group when using the Phone Book Access profile?
I have a Pioneer AVH-3300BT in my car. It is a new unit that automatically downloads my entire phonebook from my Droid Incredible each time the car is started.
For many, that would be great. But, the Pioneer can accept up to 1000 contacts. However, I have more contacts than that. In this case, the Pioneer downloads the first 1000 and stops. The order is not alphabetical or numeric. As a matter of fact, I have no idea what the order is -- unless it is how it happens to be loaded in the phone memory.
Unfortunately, my most used numbers are not part of the download. So, they are not in the Pioneer phone book.
Pioneer says, "I'm sorry, there is not a way for our unit to filter out contacts. We use the Phone Book Access (PBA) profile to get the contacts. The phone controls what contacts we get."
Is there any way to select which contacts are synced?
Can I limit sync to a Group, such as favorites?
Or, can I change the order that the numbers are stored in the phone -- perhaps with my favorites loaded up front?
Thank you
