Help phone bricked!

Hey I was hoping someone could give me a link or some links to get my phone back from the grave. Rooted my phone with shabbypenguins mod about 2 weeks ago, it worked great, no issues, first time success. But a software update came up the other day and like dumb#$% I downloaded. Now all I've got is what looks like a storeroom display(boost logo on screen). I know there are alot of people who have had similar problems but I need a link of the correct system restore. I can get to the system recovery screen. I have a usb cord. I have a computer w/ windows and internet. Just need a link and a little friendly info on how to. Also an updated root, like I said shabbypengiuns was great but it was last years breakthrough root. Is it still good? Is there a better? If so please post links. I rooted to have wifi hotspot, kinda like to have my phone and hotspot back. Any info or links would be grately appreciated. Thanks for reading this long#$% post.
 
I had the same problem just a few days ago and asked the same question here. I thought I had a paperweight phone until I came here. I used Odin FA19 Rooted and it worked perfect saved my phone. Had my phone back on and working in 15 minutes after I ran everything this forum saved my phone.
