phone call audio quality issue

I got my phone on Monday and I've noticed that when somebody is talking to me on the phone it causes a vibration type noise. I've tried lowering the volume but it still seems to be doing it. Not to mention, even with the audio turned all the way up it's hard to hear the people I'm talking to.

I even tried turning noise reduction off. I'll call up tomorrow and talk to the guy to hear what he has to say.

I get the same issue but its less apparent when I lower the volume. I'm wondering if I have a bad speaker as well. When I make a call the first ring sounds like crap and then it gets better.

Speaking of call quality, anyone get data interference sometimes in their phone? Sounds like when you get a phone call next to a speaker?

I thought it was wifi or gps transmitting while on a call, but I turned those off and still hear it. There could be something else on or around my house transmitting it, but I have never heard it with other phones.

I plan on getting my phone replaced tomorrow...I just hope they don't try to give me crap for wanting a replacement. Thanks for the replies and I'll post the outcome :)

Ok, I returned the phone earlier for a new one. The guy was cool and switched it right out for me. So far, I'm not having any problems with the new one :)

After using the phone for about a week now, I definitely notice a bit of a "tinniness" to the voice quality. But, nothing too bad. It's still very clear.
