Help Phone Call Connection Issue

I have had my EVO 4g for over a year and love the phone. Recently, over the last month, I have started to experience calls dropping. I have checked the network status and I am in good reception areas when these dropped calls have occurred on the Sprint network. There is no rhyme or reason regarding the length of time into the call, before the call is dropped from the network. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent this from occurring in the future (dropped calls, when I am in a good Sprint coverage zone)? thank you in advance
