Help Phone can't find ICS update.

I'm on GB 2.3.6. When I do a software update It tells me "Network is not available. Please try again later " I just bought the phone and it is not activated. No 4G LTE SIM CARD INSIDE. I'm on WiFi. Can anyone help me out?

This is one definite method. Or, you could root with the GB tool and flash cm10.1 and the v7 baseband. That might almost be easier.

You have to be connected to VZW's servers to get OTA updates
