Help Phone Can't Text?

Hey I recently hard reset my droid eris and right now I'm regretting it.

After I programmed my phone I noticed that I can't send or receive texts.

Just wondering if there's any way to solve this.

EDIT: forgot to include the error message I would receive. After i sent a text I would get "General SMS Problem Cause Code 34 Error class 2"

I can't text either. I type, but nothing shows up. I've tried different keyboards. Help!

I fixed mine. Removed my most recently added app (AdFree Android) and it works now.

If you have downloaded any new apps recently, see if they are the culprit. Uninstall, reboot and if the problem goes away, you know what it was.

Broken again. Only worked for one text. Also have had trouble dialing all day. May. Have to nandroid back to Kaos FROYO. Everything worked on that.
