Help phone.com.android force closing

scionxa

Newbie
Hi all, this is the 3rd time this happens to my Epic. I receive an incoming call and it vibrates and then it just says "phone.com.android" and force closes. also occasionally happens when I text someone.

I honestly think its Launcher Pro thats been causing it since it wasn't happening when I was using touch wiz but my girlfriend has Launcher pro on her epic and its fine.

I've also deleted unnecessary applications and im unable to pinpoint. Can anyone help me?

I'd start by going into wireless and networks and uncheck everything, as if to disallow data, wifi and network altogether.

Then I'd reboot the device and go back into the menus and reconfigure.

has this happened to you? I've seen with people that have GSM phones to turn off 3g and then turn it on but I can't turn off 3g, just 4g and its not on. It seems to clear up after a reboot but it eventually comes back later on in the week. It might be launcher pro since this didn't happen before but I absolutely hate Touchwiz, but I'm just wondering if this has happened to people before. It's quite annoying ,especially since it doesn't tell you who called

Have you recently installed any other apps that might be at fault? The Market / Facebook / Gmail are known to cause similar problems. Are you using a Task Killer? Maybe you should use one to see what's running and work your way backwards?
