So I was at work listening to music and minding my own business, and I took off my headphone to talk to another co-worker, and when I came back to it I had complete black screen no life from the phone, I went to my car, and plug in the charger to see if the red led come on and nothing, I waited to get home and put in my backup battery and nothing... so I have dead phone no clue wtf happen... it was s-off and using unSENSEable V2.1 so what could have cost this?

I suggest taking the battery out for a few minutes then put it back in and letting it charge overnight or at least eight hours.

I had this problem unhook the battery for an hour and rehook and it should launch...

Take out the battery, and hold down the power button for a few seconds. Put the battery cover back on to be sure you're hitting the power button properly. Then put the battery in and see if it charges with the indicator light. If so, turn it on. If not, do what the others have suggested.

Yeah I'm having the same problem. I turned my phone off then a few minutes later accidently turned it on, so I took the battery out. Now when I try to charge it the light won't come on. It's not charging. Will take the battery out and leave it alone for a few and report back.

Update: Yup phone is dead, just called VM and they are sending me a new phone in 2-3 days. Lets hope I can root it without a computer.

Has your device received any updates, for the operating system or any apps or widgets? If so, go into all 3rd party apps via Application Manager and clear data and cache, including the music app you were using. Shut down the phone and remove the battery, SIM card and sd card.

Wait about a minute, then put everything back in but don't power up with anything connected (USB cable, charger or ear pods etc).

Once powered up, you'll have to reconfigure all apps/widgets you cleared data on.

See how things go after that. ;)
