Help Phone constantly resyncing itself

busted bones

Android Enthusiast
So my phone is now showing that's it is syncing every couple of minutes and nothing will stop it. I've disabled both background data and auto syncing. The only way to stop it is to shut off all data connections. Any idea what it's syncing? Or is it just showing that symbol kinda like to ghost voicemail issue?

I also have the constantly flashing sync symbol. I haven't been able to tell what's causing it and if it's just a cosmetic thing. Along with the HTC sense crashing, it was the first thing I noticed after I upgraded.

It just started happening to me yesterday but I haven't updated or downloaded any new apps, and other than shutting the background data no settings changes. It really is disappointing how botched the GB update has been.

I have my EVO connected to our Exchange server. Mine will do this sometimes when one of the 3 wont sync, it being the mail, contacts or calendar. Typically its the calendar for me. I will go into the Sync properties and uncheck "sync calendar" then do a sync then recheck "sync calendar" and sync again then eveything works fine. Not sure why it does this.

So it seems to be my gmail calender causing this issue. Not sure if I can fix it your way since I would have to delete the account and re do it.

My Gmail calendar started to do this as well. I have it unchecked untill its fixed. I am going out on a limb and guessing its on their side and not a handset issue.

Well turned out it was not my google calendar. I deleted my Qik account and that for the moment seems to have fixed it. We will have to wait and see once I hit sync all again though.
