Help Phone contacts

How do I delete all the contacts that are on my phone that are people from facebook that I never intend to call? I know I did something to cause this but everytime I try to delete, the phone calls the person. This is getting to be really embarrassing. Please help.

Go into People > Menu > View > and uncheck Facebook. This is the screen where you select who you want to show up as contacts, so modify as you see fit. HTH

Interestingly, this takes them out of the people list, but when you bring up the phone to dial someone, they are still listed there.

That is interesting. I always use the People icon to make calls, so I never even thought to check the phone.

Anyone know a way to get LinkedIn contacts synced like Facebook & Flickr contacts?

Interestingly, this takes them out of the people list, but when you bring up the phone to dial someone, they are still listed there.

After you uncheck Facebook in the People option, go into menu, settings, applications, manage applications, then clear the data and cache. Next time it syncs, your Facebook contacts should not appear in People.
