Help Phone does not load into menues

I need help, I was updating some apps last night and deleting some i didnt need.

I went to turn my phone off and restart it, and when i tryed to turn it back on, it never loads into menus.

It goes gtom the HTC Quietly brilliant loadign screen to the Verizon wireless logo screen and just keeps cycling between those 2 screens

Could my phone have a virus? how do i fix this?

Number of different ways to fix it... the simplest solution might be just to pull the battery and leave it out for 10 minutes, then replace and power on. If that doesn't work there are some more involved solutions but you will lose all data saved to the phone (sd card will be fine)
