Root Phone Does not Survive First Reboot

My Phone does not survive the first reboot after installing any ROM... I will install any ROM and then reboot and its okay. But, then when I reboot the second time it will not work and it gets caught in a boot loop.
 
as soon as you flash the rom and it boots up, you need to go into Settings> CyanogenMod Settings, if its reppards rom.. or a rom that utilizes the cyanogenmod menu for overclocking, but go into that menu, go tot he performance menu, and turn the clock speed down to the stock 600.. it should work for you
