Help Phone Doesn't detect WIFI

[vatsalkonkani]

Hi,
I bought this Galaxy Y and it does work nicely as Hotspot but when i tried to connect it with other wifi hotspot It doesn't detect any access point.
While on other hand my old phone Nokia N95 detect the same wifi and works fine.
How can i fix this problem ?

Erm.. you are using a router or are actually talking about hotspot created by a different device.. note that android doesn't support ad-hoc networks.

its ad-hoc on laptop.
my mobile detects routers so i guess what you said does make sense.
Thank you
