Help Phone doesnt turn off

So I installed the MR today and now it seems that when I select turn off on the power options it just reboots my phone. Is anyone else having this issue? Im about to try a battery pull.

EDIT: It only seems to turn on when plugged in, if left unplugged it will stay off. I was trying to charge the phone while off when this issue arose.

That doesn't sound right. That's one of the first things I did after the update once it powered up (after the restart). I powered off the phone and turned it back on. No problems.

I was trying to charge through my laptop and as soon as I plugged it in it would immediately boot up. I tried plugging in after it was off, turning it off plugged in, changing the usb setting but no change. I can shut it off but as soon as its plugged in it turns on.

I think I may have figured it out but still doesnt make 100% sense to me. I went through my settings thinking I may have left never turn off on under the application and development settings. Well I realized I left debugging on and when I turned that off it worked normally. I dont remember this happening with the EVO 4G though.

I just noticed this as well and found it odd. I wanted to keep the phone off and charge it (its hooked into my laptop) but it just restarts and wont just stay off.
Strange....

Mine did this before the update too.

Well it seems to want to restart when its connected to my laptop, but not when its connected to the wall outlet (charge only is what I have the phone set at too). Quite interesting.
