Root Phone freezing since moving to Froyo

Hi all,

So I had been running the DJ05 superclean ROM with an undervolted voodoo kernel before moving to Froyo, and the system worked absolutely beautifully.

Ever since moving to Froyo (and I've been using various iterations of adryn's superclean from v. 4 all the way up to (now) 9.1, and from time to time, the phone will freeze, when I try to tap the screen, it interprets it as a long press. If I go to task manager and force close and restart LPP, it will fix the problem, but this has been happening more than is convenient. I have tried to do full wipes of the phone and fresh reinstalls of the superclean ROMs, but the problem still pops up.

I haven't seen anyone else complaining about this in adryn's threads or here, but perhaps others have experienced it as well. Anyone have this happen or have some advice as to how to fix it? I'd hate to go back to Eclair...

I'm on SC 2.9 right now too and the only time mine "freezes" is when I unmount it from the computer. I physically have to turn the screen on or touch the screen to scan for media.
