Help Phone freezing

Has anyone had any problems with the phone randomly freezing?

For some reason the phone at random seems to stop on random screens and needs a battery pull to restart.

Seems more common when wifi/internet is on.

Anyone had similar problems, even a reset has not corrected it.

The international s3 has a problem called Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) mate. It completely kills the motherboard. Samsung put a preventative fix in the 4.1.2 update but that "fix" works by making the Phone freeze instead of dying. Sounds like what u have. U can look at it as a bad thing or a good thing lol. Aparently the freezes get less frequent

I did the fix the otherday via kies but ive had freezes since then before that mine was randomly re-starting now i did do some titanium backups and i think hd widgets was to blame. once deleted and reinstalled seems fine upto now anyway-

if you go into about phone and look at yr build no. if it ends xxella (i think) then its the sds build if uve updated then it will end xxell5 - which is the fix, but depending what you want to do and whats on your phone etc it might be worth going into recovery "turn phone off press up, home, and on at the same time" do a factory reset and clear the cache before you plug u to kies

Done a reset, this didnt clear the problem but not as frequent, have also read chrome and FB apps may have problems so they are off now, i may add one at a time if problem is cleared.

I also reflashed the firmware vie kies so with any luck it will clear up.

XXELLA is the build no, is that good or bad? how do i force it to get the other build?

ETA, i didnt say thanks in the post, so thanks for the replies guys.

Well after a factory reset and using Kies to re flash the sw i finally admitted defeat and took it to the vodafone shop and its off to be fixed.

Thanks again to all above for their suggestions and help.
