Root Phone function malfunctioning with CM7

Ran into an odd problem with my phone today. I've been running CM7 just fine and dandy for a couple weeks now on my Incredible. No problems, made and received calls just fine. And this morning, for some inexplicable reason, the phone function started messing up. Whenever someone called me, my phone rang, and displayed properly and when I would try to answer it, it would pick up the call, but there would be no noise on either end of the call. At first, I thought it was just a temporary network problem, but all throughout the day, I had the same problem. At work, I recovered back to regular old Android 2.2 HTC Sense. It seemed to cure the problem and I had no problem making or receiving calls.

This leads me to believe it was an issue with the ROM, and I find it even more peculiar that it was all-of-a-sudden. Anybody ever encounter this issue?
 
I never had that problem with cm7, I'd go back to it and see if it happens again. Make sure you do a complete wipe(data, cache, dalvik) a couple times.
 
I've been running the same nightly build for about a month now, and I haven't experienced phantom calls. The only way to fix it is to just update to the latest stable version or give the nightly builds a shot (they are very stable).
