Help Phone getting replaced tomorrow, wat do?

Hi all,

I admit, I did not search extensively first. I'm sure this topic has been covered before but I am in need of an urgent and accurate answer. I saw one thread about one specific app (MyBackup) that did not work, but I could not find anything else.

My GS2 is being replaced tomorrow due to a hardware fault. Thankfully in this instance, I am still running my carrier's default firmware.

Is there any way I can back it up, other than Google sync?

Am I even correct in assuming all my contacts, calendar, reader subscriptions, emails and such will be replaced automatically to the new phone by Google?

I am also worried about the apps I have installed, the layout of my screens, my saved app data, etc. Is there any way I can make an exact copy of my phone, and load it on to the new hardware as if nothing changed?

Thanks in advance :)

last upgrade I did (using my backup pro) did not take a clean copy/replication. Screens went back to standard and a lot of apps were not reinstalled either.

So you are saying there is nothing I can do?

How effective is Google sync? Will I at least get all my contacts/calendar back?
