Root phone goes into sleep/standby when app running

So I have Warm 2.2 and I love it (stock kernel). I have noticed a problem that I need your help with. If I am listening to Sirius or pandora it will stop playing after several minutes and then will not continue until I awake it and hit pause and play again. I believe it is entering standby/sleep mode. I have display set to timeout after 2 min, but even when I change it to 10 min I still experience this.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have no reason in particular for suggesting this, but I would start by wiping cache and dalvik cache. That is just an easy thing to do that can solve some strange problems. I am assuming you haven't changed anything else in settings that could be causing this problem.

Are you using any programs that help with battery life? I noticed this when I used juice defender.
