I have an unlocked at&t s4 with t-mobile as my provider (kitkat version). I am new to smart phones so maybe I did something wrong, but I notice that quite often I will try to make a phone call and i will not get any ringing/phone call will not go through adn emails are only current to about aq hour before. Maybe I show 2 bars which should be enough to do anyhting . If I then restart the phone, I will instantly I have lots of bars and the calls go through perfectly. My phone sits idle a lot, so I was wondering if there is some sleep mode inherent with ht phone that might be causing the problem.
I talk to my t-mobile dude (business account) and he said that is common with smart phones. I don't believe him.
Can anyone help me figure out what is going on? I turned off some at&t features since I don't have at&t and I wonder if that screwed something up on the phone.
