Help phone in landscape

Is it just me, or does the Epic not render the phone keypad in landscape? i.e. the keypad disappears when you rotate the phone screen from portrait to landscape. I'm using Launcher Pro. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Lol. I discovered that yesterday. Seems like the phone just doesn't work in landscape... but it would also be kinda dumb to try and keep it in landscape after making a call

Not so dumb if you have it mounted that way in your car...

I truly hate it when that keypad disappears...I got a week to return this Epic and I'm seriously debating exchanging it for the Evo...yes, just because of that...a $200 phone should work flawlessly.

Any other suggestions besides the Evo?

Not so dumb if you have it mounted that way in your car...

I'm not running launcher pro and mine goes away as well.
Probably think that if its in landscape your typing with the qwerty keyboard

my phone touch pad isnt showing up why is this..i just got my epic and this is crazy i cant even dial a number
