Has anyone tried this app (Phone info) to turn off 4g service (to save battery life) I downloaded it but am not sure how to turn off the 4g service while keeping everything else working. I thought I turned off 4g service but then I could not make any calls.

Go to Phone Information then scroll down change the option that says CDMA+LTE to CDMA (auto) this should disable 4g.

When I do that it does not let me use the internet. I thought is would switch to 3G

It took my phone 2 or 3 minuets to pick up 3g once I changed to CDMA (auto), and I was on 3G before hand. Give it a few minuets after switching and see if that helps
