Help Phone Is Choppy

[Kamau]

You'll have to excuse me if this is a repeated question, but when I try to use he search feature, as soon as it opens and I click in the box, it disappears. Though not my main question, maybe someone could help me with that as well.
But my primary problem is the choppiness of my phone. It lags on he home screen going from page to page, and generally lags when I'm trying to go from feature to feature.

Have you powered off and pulled the battery then reboot? After that try clearing phones cache, them master reset as a last resort. Google any of these for the directions.
