This explain why the black phone has loose home button. Samsung should be ashamed of themselves considering the phone price did not drop and it not even made in South Korea.

All things are made in China nowadays. iPhones/iPad are made in China and their built quality aren

I'm really surprised with the high quality of the Note 3 I have. Made in South Korea, this is the first time I've bought a new smartphone that wasn't made in China.
All the buttons are precision fit, snug and properly aligned, there's not one thing wrong. It's better built than my iPhone 5S and lots more fun.
Blazing speed, a great accurate and fast SWYPE keyboard, I couldn't be happier.

I wonder if they made the ones for sale in South Korea in South Korea but the ones for export in China. Could explain the wiggle problem. QC for Chinese is not always that great as not all Chinese have an eye for detail. Someone missed this one big time in QC
Now everythings Made in China, Vietnam and Thailand.
Important is quality control not Made at where.

This time my Note 3 probably Made in China also as it label Made by Samsung, from history, Samsung will label Made by Samsung if it is Made in China. Samsung do label proper country name others than China.
My previous Galaxy S III is label Made in Korea but I don't feel it is the best either, I notice the CPU seems got some clock speed block or more easier throttle, as I never able to get suppose benchmark score on it. My colleague S III is Made by Samsung and her phone can perform suppose benchmark score.
Now my Note 3 also label Made by Samsung and I can get suppose benchmark score as well.
In above case scenario, I don't see Made by China means bad and my white Note 3 don't have any issue like home button or camera case.
Important is quality control not Made at where.

My T mobile version is made in China and my wife's ATT version is made in Korea.
Neither one has a lose home button. I consider myself lucky, as I have been having issues with cell phones lately.

and no it is not because of where it is made.....just quality control issues is all......from what i have seen and hear....it is a very small percentage of people who are having this issue.....if it is a problem then just get it exchanged.

Very small percentage are u kidding? Every damn black note 3 ive seen already out here the home key button has an issue and i exchanged 3x same issue so.
Not mine or my wife's ( both black and not ghey white or pink LOL. Dont get me wrong I am not discrediting your opinion as I have also heard of the Home button issue on here and elsewhere.

Well, my Black Note 3 is solid as a rock No wiggle, no wobble.
Also, my WiFi has been solid all day (somebody mentioned they had a problem) .
The only strange thing I've had all day is the HBO GO app constantly crashes. I never had a problem with that app running on a Motorola Photon with 2.3.5. Maybe it's not ready for 4.3. Who knows.
Maybe it's a Shy Town thing? No wiggle on mine from Bean Town.

Not that I noticed when I checked it. But I'm going to be honest here. I tapped it a few times, it seemed solid, I dismissed the issue as being non-existent. I didn't keep tapping and pushing over and over again until it started moving like the guy in the video did. Seeing the video really makes me say this is nitpicking. I think he pushed it 5 times before it started moving at all. I just don't see where that is a build quality issue at all.
Btw, my phone was made in China too.

No, some of us do not have a wiggling, rotating, whatever home button. Posting the same video three times won't change that. My phone is made in China, it's a black T-mobile Note 3 and it does not do that. Then again, I have better things to do with my time than to try to find some little silly defect in my phone. If one looks hard enough, they can find defects in everything.

How can they charge us the same price as phones made in South Korea?

The same way that they charged me the same for my TV made in Mexico when my brother got the same model made in Asia.
Consumer electronics is an international deal.
If you think that Korean made phones have only Korean parts and Chinese phones don't, I have news - it's not true.
As for sub-par parts - not because of place of origin.

There is logic to the idea that Bean Town phones may be immune.
This could all possibly be caused by a one or two batches of defects, with the batches showing up in specific locations.
