Root phone is shot atleast i think?

Well your best bet is to take it to metro,
They are pretty dumb on phones they do not flash there phones they send them back to Samsung, if its a newer phone they should replace it in about a week if not in stock, for free, Good luck mate.

And you most likely soft bricked your phone, try looking into it.
I could be wrong.
 
well thanks for trying to help ive tried everything im very confused over this one. like ive told you ive flashed my admire and my wifes not one thing wrong works great but this thing just does not lmao ill see what what metro does thanx again everyone
 
One thing you can try is make a nandroid backup of your working phone and try downloading to the bad phone if you are running the same recovery. Worked on one I had a similar problem with. Hope it helps.

thats the problem though, he cant seem to get in recovery so he wouldnt be able to restore it anyways. this is the first time ive ever heard of POWER+VOL DOWN+BACK not working in this case. i myslef have use odin twice and then the the upgrade tool (both the generic and the official) and i was able to get my phone in working order o.O
 
He said he could get it into download mode, thats how i did it. Copy backup to desktop on the computor, then put it in download mode and loaded backup.
 
yes i can get the phone in download mode but nothing else ive tries to install multi... roms thru odin, downloaded and upgrade.exe for the admire thru the samsung website. i have a nandroid back up ready to go from my good phone how would i try to tthis thru odin... i believe ive tried this already myself but ill try again with instuctions just in case i didnt do something right
 
i just made a copy of nandroid backup and saved to my desktop. then put phone in download mode, connected to computer with usb, then right clicked on the desktop folder and installed the backup through whatever com port your phone is hooked to. reboot. I hope it works, it did on mine.

Did You Try Loading CWM 5027 again to see if it will Load:
IF You Can Get D/L Mode you should be able to gain acess to int mem
( Instructions are in the stickys )
and try switching usb cables to check the indulge drivers.
If you get that installed You May Get Some Where.
Worth a shot since you got odin loaded anyway.
 
Just figured I would throw this out there, and not saying this is the greatest idea since you said you tried the Metro update. When it is at the Samsung screen does it vibrate when it gets there? If you swipe as if unlocking the phone (wherever the tab or unlock mech should be) does it vibrate like you unlocked? Just figured maybe it is loading but your launcher is failing. Again, not the greatest idea, but worth a shot LOL.

I was hoping it would work like mine did, sorry it didn't. Have you tried putting your SD card in the phone that wont boot, worth a shot.
