Help Phone is sluggish playing Angry Birds

I'm not sure what is wrong, but on my wifes Intercept, Angry Birds is extremely laggy. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same issue. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

You cant - its a bug on the intercept (many threads on it). Try playing from level 1 and it will be fine. Trying to resume to any level other than level 1 and it will be sluggish...

The new update for Angry Birds has an option to turn down the graphics settings. On the main screen, click the options button, then from the menu that pops up, select the button that looks like a mountain.
This turns off some of the fancier effects and it runs much more smoothly for me. Unfortunately it occasionally causes bugs in the menus, but the actual game is perfectly playable.
