Help Phone is STUCK

I tried to flash a rom to my phone and was following instructions, but now my phone is stuck on a screen w/ an open box and an android logo. It won't let me do anything. Please help ASAP

--pull the battery and find a new rom online
--...put it back into recovery mode, but since i have an eris i don't know how to do that with the inspire but since you tried to install a custom rom im guessing you do..if not, just search it.
-- There shuld be an option to toggle usb and when you enable that you can connect it to a computer and it should be mounted
--put on a new rom, the first one you can find to the root of your SD.
-- Do that and then flash the zip and you can always go back and flash a better rom later
