Root Phone keeps auto-shutting off to Velocity screen

this started yesterday and it will be randomly, sometimes just sitting there and other times ill be texting and it will just go to the velocity screen and loop there.

any help?

Are you using the Gingerbread for Eclair by chance? I kept getting tossed back to the Raptor startup animation every time I clicked the Power button.

nope i heard it had problems so i didnt use it
i didnt download anything yesterday so idk what it could be
