Help Phone keeps lighting up. HELP!!!

AMG_PC

Newbie
Hi, I'm new to this forum.
I really like my phone (I have the Samsung Note 2), but lately it has been really bugging me!!!
I bought my phone in April. for the past month it has been lighting up without a reason. the battery is drain fatest than it should, and there are time when it restarts by itself without a reason. Apart from this there are time where I find I have to press the unlock button several times before I can unlcok the phone. I don't know if it the same problem of just a coinsidence.
I have downloaded spyware removal apps, but can't find anything. I have download wakelock detector, can't find anything there either. I also installed clean master and still nothng.
Is there anybody that can help me? does anybody have the same problem???

Hi and welcome to Android Forums!

Normally I wouldn't move a new member's first post, but this is an important issue and I want you to get it resolved quickly. I moved your post to the Galaxy Note 2 Forum so that more experienced eyes can look at it and help you. I hope you get a solution soon: if you have any questions about the move, just PM me by right-clicking my name. Always feel free to ask any questions you may have.

It's great to have you here :)

Have you done a factory reset? I would do one of those and only install my apps one every few days. That way you could pinpoint if is a wiggly app or not.

I seem to remember dodgy or loose SD cards causing this type of behaviour in SII's. Have you tried leaving the SD card out (if you have one that is!) to see if it makes a difference?

R.

Thanks for replying. I thought I'd leave factory reset as a last resort.
I don't use an sd card yet. Thinking about it as memory is at 80% full

IS this happening when it's plugged in? Loose/dirty battery can cause it to lose contact and when it re-connects the note will try to charge and light up to display "Charge complete" (and if you have wakelock on, it will stay lit up from this, bugged me a lot at night since I'd put my phone on charge before bed and wake up with it lit up)

For what it is worth, I just got rid of the Great Clips app I added about the time this started and haven't had any issues for about half an hour. Before it was regular and often...
