Help Phone keeps rebooting ONLY when activated...

I bought a Droid Incredible 1 off ebay. When I received it, it seemed fine. Then I activated it with my number. Only when it is activated, it begins the restart and power off loop. I have heard this is a common problem with Incredibiles, but why will this only happen when it is activated? I switch back to my old phone, and when the incredible is not activated, it works fine. I tried activating it 20+ times. Seems to only stay on when my old phone is activated with my number. Wtf?

Could be a hardware issue, some parts of the phone only become active after the phone is activated, you can try reinstalling the OS by running an RUU... I'll see if I can find the link for you.
