Root Phone keeps rebooting...

The problem just started tonight. When I try to open my pics or watch a video or go to an app, the Cyanogen mod 7 android guy keeps popping up. I will go to rebot phone same problem, remove the battery and restart by pushing the on button, it will reboot, be OK for a few minutes then it will go off again and restart on its own, I feel like throwing it across the room, I really like my Triumph in boot mode. I any of you know how or why this happened or if I can fix it somehow let me know. I saw a post about going to recovery mode and wiping cache, might this help? If I just go to reboot on that screen it does nothing. All I get is a top hat and a circle, which do not move or anything

Okay...so you are seeing the emblem for cwm...on some versions it does pop up without showing any options...try the power button...it shoud bring up the main menu...if this doesnt help knowing which version of cwm you have will help greatly because you can get online and check the keymapping and figure out how to get the menu to pop up...once you get to the menu clear cache on main menu then go to advanced an clear dalvik cache

Are you getting the menu in the recovery mode? Do the volume up and down buttons not respond? I would load a different version of CWM and try that.

If you can get CWM working then I would re-install the ROM. My Backup and Busybox are a couple of apps that work together to restore your apps when you try a new ROM or re-install one. You go into My Backup and backup your apps to SD, then after re-installing the ROM, you download the two apps again and do a restore from My Backup.

It seems to be working OK now...after I posted, I left the battery out for an hour or so then came home and just plugged it in to recharge, once it was recharged it seemed to be OK. I tried viewing videos and going to all kind of apps and it didn't do the CWM thing again.
I will try the back up and ROM reinstall, if I can figure out how to do it without losing any pics or videos, you see I had a friend who is computer savvy do the root for me as I am not very good with this stuff.
