Phone keeps restarting by itself

My husbands Samsung transform phone keeps turning itself off and then re-starting. Is there a fix for this? I's been doing it several times a day.

I would try restarting the phone in Safe Mode (which I think on your phone you get into by holding the menu key while you boot up and releasing it when you see the home screen). If it works fine without restarting in safe mode (for a day or so) then the problem is some app you downloaded.
