Help Phone killing headphones?

I've had three headphones, that the left side quit working while using the motion. they worked perfect for months, then boom. One side goes out when i start using it in my phone. All in the past week.

Stop buying cheap headphones. I know it seems dumb,but a decent laur of headphones Will take you a long way(I've had a pair work for over 3 years now). I can provide suggestions for over ear,on ear,and in ear if you want.

I think he's concerned about something in the phone damaging the headphones somehow. possibly overdriving on speaker (since he reports it always on his left).

It could be a mechanical issue with his heaset jack, Perhaps he could test the headset on another device, or on a pc/laptop
