Help Phone lock issue/question

I cant for the life of me figure out how to disable the automatic phone lock...so i dont have to unlock it everytime i text or answer a call...i see the screen timeout but nothing to disable the lock part...any help would be appreciated..thanks.

you can't disable it on the phone, there is a free app on the market that will do what you want, called No Lock.

You can turn off the screen lock within your phone settings - Menu > Settings > Security > Set up screen lock and choose None.

Why use a third party app to do it?

there is no set up screen lock option on inc, just change screen lock and when i open it, it just says confirm saved pattern?

Yes, press that. After you enter your lock pattern, you can changetl the action you want.
Use None, for for no screen lock.
