Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy Avant that I bought in October last year. Recently, my phone has been malfunctioning in numerous ways such as alarms failing to sound until hours after they are supposed to and the phone not being able to connect to my computer as a storage device. I went to the electronics department at Costco (where I had gotten the phone from) and asked for some advice from the clerk. He told me to turn power saving mode off and update the software. There is just one problem though. I can't update the software because if I go to Settings>About Device and tap "software update" the phone does nothing, Absolutely Nothing. Could someone help?
