phone memory is full please delete some files

I have like 640mbs available for memory, however when I try to check my messages I am getting an error message that my phone memory is full and that I need to delete some files, but I really don't anything on there.

did that, did a battery pull, even deleted everything on my phone, still there finally figured out how to get into and delete it. worked finally, but I want to start over on my phone how do I do that

reset to factory settings or format the 'phone' memory again maybe

You can do a factory reset by booting it up while holding down the vol down button on the side.
