Help phone not going past t-mobile screen

hi guys, i recently started to update my htc desire s to the new 2.3.5 but after a power failure my phone will not go past the t-mobile screen, ive booted using the volume buttons bt can't seem to do anything on there either, when i try to factory reset all i get is the update screen but then it goes to a picture of a phone with a red warning triangle, im absolutely lost and i dont have a phone to set me on till i get this fixed plus no insurance :/ thanks for any help

The only problem is I S-OFFed it so not under warranty and no doubt i'll be in the holy s**tballs if i send it back to them plus with a cracked screen they'll repair and charge me for that too :/
