Help Phone Not Recognizing SIM

Just got my phone back from LG and they updated it to ZVD along with fixing the vibration issue. When I put the SIM, SD, and battery back in and turned on the phone it won't recognize the SIM. I've tried rebooting, taking out the SIM and reinserting it several times, and even doing a reset and still no luck. While the phone was away I stored everything I didn't send in a cool dry place. The only thing I can think that may have screwed the SIM card up is that I touched the gold contact on the bottom when I picked it up the first time. Any ideas?

r u getting that emergency only
k if u r just turn ur sim card around they do that they put them in backwards
 
<facepalm> In my sleep-deprived state I didn't think about turning it around and swore how I inserted it was how it was two weeks ago lol. Thanks.
