Help phone off /data on

Is there any way to turn the phone off and leave data on? Its soo annoying when i'm online and i get a phone call or txt and it shuts off data and screws things up.

Try using airplane mode, and then turning your wifi only back on.

I'm sure he wants to use tether so that wouldn't work. Why not use 4g u can get calls and texts while it doesn't interrupt your data

Yes Tethering is what i was talking about. I don't have 4g in my area yet. Its supposed to be coming soon but not yet. so there must not be a way to do this. bummer.

There was an option to turn off phone calls and SMS on my WM6.5 device, I cant remember what it was called, but you had to change something in the registry. I'd imagine there is something similar on android. Might want to google the solution for 6.5 so you can find the registry setting/name and then cross reference that name for android.
