Help Phone on, screen does not turn on when pressing the power button!

I have been having a strange issue where my phone is on, everything is fine, the screen goes to sleep and sometimes, when I press the power button to wake it up the screen stays off!

If I press and hold the power button I feel the short vibe when the "Turn off phone" menu pops up, but the screen and buttons at the bottom of the screen are off.

One time I repeatedly pressed the power button and it woke the screen back up, but the other few times it happened I had to pull the battery and power back on to get it to come back!

Is this possibly related to Juice Defender? I have the Ultimate version.

i think i am having the same thing happen to me.. sometimes when the phone is sleeping the power button is unresponsive and i need to press and hold it till i get the power down option that pops up.. I don't have juice defender installed
