I finally got around to updating my phone to ZVE. After doing so it unrooted so I decided to update to a new ZVE ROM. I tried two things to make this happen. First I tried running a TWRP installer which apparently reboots the phone into recovery. The batch file fails with a series of "The system cannot find the path specified" and fails. I found a ZVC root that apparently roots ZVE which would have been great because then I could run ROM manager. That one fails too. My drivers are of course up to date, phone is set to debugging on.

the aio root worked in rooting my esteem on zve,then i used rom manager to get recocery,give aio root a shot
