Help Phone reboots when plugging in USB cable

Since uninstalling The Weather Channel app. I have not had the restart upon pluggin in usb.

The thing that complicates this is that I also move one app - Aldiko book reader from SD card to phone. It was the only one on the card. I also deleted some data - one big video and a few images, No other changes.

I'm thinking it may be TWC app because it was updated just before this behavior - rebooting on connecting usb - started.

I may reinstall it and see if it happens again .... or I may not...

I'd be interested if anyone else sees the same thing.

I've been having this issue for awhile as well, but only at work not at home. I don't have The Weather Channel app nor Adiko. I do have several apps on the SD card tho, it'd be hard to pinpoint a culprit.

Once my phone reboots, it still connects to the PC so I can pull files off, but now the PC Connection is now gone in the Notification tray. So I have to unplug the USB cable again so I can charge and listen to music off the SD card. Pain in the butt.

Can anybody confirm or deny this is resolved in the non-OTA GB update?

It sounds like this is a problem with many etiologies. For me, it was having an ethernet cable connected to my Xbox 360, which was probably interacting with some sharing software. Once I unplugged the ethernet cable, my Droid connected just fine via USB. I almost like that it did that, so I'm not at as much risk for exploitation!

What I did to stop this issue was move all of my "root" apps back to the internal memory. I don't know what caused this, but it seems to be working... for now.

Droid X...not particular to plugging in or unplugging, but while plugged in it will just randomly reboot itself...a few times per day! At night too, I plug it in while I sleep and I get woken to "DROID"..so I know it rebooted.

If it where my old BB I'd throw it out the window because that thing took 15 minutes to boot...but the droid's only taking 2 or 3 minutes so not too concerned. Clearly this is not SUPPOSED to be happening though.

I'm no longer getting the reboots when plugging/unplugging usb, but since the last update I do get random reboots at least once a week or so..sometimes more.
