), there are only about 100 viruses that work effectively on Linux. And I've never met any desktop Linux users that use antivirus. Coupled with the fact that Droid users who haven't rooted are even safer because the su account and the sudo command won't do anything at all, I don't see any reason for it.That's interesting, I had no idea that there's AV software for the Droid.
Though I do find it completely unnecessary. The Droid IS a computer, true, but Android is Linux-based, and according to Wikipedia (which I trust completely!), there are only about 100 viruses that work effectively on Linux.
