Help phone ringtone delayed?

hi has any one else ever had a problem with there phones where when you get an incoming call, it will vibrate but the ringtone wont start playing for about 3 seconds later. thats really annoying i am using a motorola droid 1 unrooted 2.2, does this happen with any one else and how can i fix it?

Have you tried turning off vibrate when ringing?
