Help Phone screen locking problems (HTC evo sprint)

My phone went crazy so I took the battery out and then when I turned in it wouldn't lock or even power off. So I decided to charge it and now it's off and it won't turn on unless I take the battery out again. And the cycle repeats.

Someone, help, PLEASE! :eek:

i moved your post to the evo 4g support forum where folks who have your device such as me can help out better.

how old is the battery? it might be time to get a new one.
