Root Phone screen not working

CSelH

Hello,

Well, i'm in a bad situation. I rooted my phone and flashed maverick onto it, and everything was cool for a while. Eventually my screen started acting funny, it would pixel out, not rotate, it would shut off if slid open slightly, after a while of this the touch interface would not work, my power, volume buttons, and keyboard would all work but the screen would not. I have taken the phone completely back to stock via a sbf. i thought the phone would start working, it stopped pixelating, rotate, and stopped shutting off, however the touch interface will still not work, and i have no idea as to what i should do. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

It sounds like a hardware problem. A lot of people have problems with a flex cable in the Droid 3, getting tears that affect the hardware.

See Droid 3 screen pixelated/flex cable issues

If you search you can find out info about replacing them yourself, though many of the reports are not all that promising. It may be time for a new phone.
