Phone screen shuts off!

okay this has been happening for a couple of months now, i will turn my phones screen of and turn it back on and all i see are the backlights of the buttons on and when i use the touch screen i can still unlock it and select apps but i cant see anything! im running the latest version of velocity and i tried reflashing my rom but it still happens!..oh and while im here i also have s problem with my sd card it randomly unmounts its self and i have to take it out and put it back in, also it wont format. i was using apps2sd but i stopped. i would love the help! thanks.-Nick

Have you tried formatting it from a pc? A few people seem to be having the same issue. Ive had that happen to my screen a few times. Just pulled the battery, not sure if the touch still worked. It just went away though. Try going stock if either problem continues and you have warranty take it back into verizon.

I bought my phone a year ago lol do I still have a warrenty?

Well its a year warranty so it would be really close but its worth a shot. Settings>about phone>status and go to the bottom. If that date is less than a year take it back

would i get my money back or a new one? i mean my phone is okay i guess but do you think this has to do with the sd card problem? and i have a mac so im not sure how to formatt it! thanks for your help!

They wont give you your money back. Thats crazy! They just give you a replacement. Im not sure how it would work on a mac but you should be able to connect the phone and find the drive and select format. Couldnt be too hard to figure out.
