Root Phone SMS to GTab

I am loving the gtablet for its couch surfing power.. but i really wish that I didnt have to go to my phone evey time i get text message. Is there any way to answer my texts from the GTab?

you can send/receive texts over wi-fi using google voice, but i do not think you could use your cell number to do it. while you can set your texts to forward to your google voice number, when you reply it will be sent from your google voice account, not your cell phone #.

Sync sms will sync your text messages between your phone and your tablet. Paid app, but worth it.
