lately my phone has been lagging alot, i have app killer but it dosnt seem to help. any ideas on diagnosing my prop or any solutions

hey when you app kill everything.... do you have to reinstall (or atleast delete and put back on) widgets like weather bug and battery lite??

just slow to start up programs, texting wont keep up with my fingures anymore, and when i get a call the screen goes black b4 a couple seconds befor i can answer it. and im on ATnT. and no i dont have to reinstall anything

and mine was also freezing whie id type text messages and constantly vibrate while frozen as if i was holding down a button

I reboot my phone once every 2 days..... and like, remove battery for 10 seconds every week...
have you installed stuff like an anti virus or something? it slows it alot down if you did

yes I reboot my phone already once a day, mine is also do the freeze on text message and vibrate. but I do have a anti virus but the problem was happening before I installed it

It's truly shocking that we have to switch our phones off and on again at least once a week to get them working correctly.

mine was replaced last friday, it started acting up mid week, freezing, not hanging up calls, etc, completely wiped on monday, by tuesday it was ****ed again. it keeps freezing up mid word during text messages. wont hang up calls, dials the wrong person from my call log list, stuff like that. its truly disappointing that a phone this "smart" can be such a piece of garbage and requires so much maintenance to work correctly

Uchi I can't believe you are having such a nightmare with your phones. Will your carrier replace the handset with another make as clearly the X10 model they are running has some serious issues.

Why?

They are a mini PC in your hand (or tablet) and would you be so shocked about having to reboot your PC once a week if it started to lag/bog down?

I rebooted my X10 after every charge as it made the battery last longer so it never bothered me. :)

was about ti give the same answer lol except i reboot once a day like my pc...
Manxape: if you wanted a no reboot needed phone you should have bought a "CELL"phone not a "SMART"phone

theyll keep replacing it with x10's, i renewed my contract about 3 months ago for this phone. im hoping if they get enough complaints theyll offer me another handset in the near future. i get to call them tonite and once again complain for another replacement. once that comes in itll be the 5th time ill get to re download and re setup all the apps i need and use.

but im really hoping they come to their senses after sending me 6 or 7 of these things, which im sure at this rate is bound to happen. lol.

the phones latest trick is not telling me whos calling, itll start to ring, it goes to the unlock screen and stays on my homepage, doesnt tell me whos calling for a good 5 or 6 seconds, and then of course it chooses when it wants to hang up, and it isnt always when i hit the end button.

It must be something to do with their software on it, cos I know the phone as a whole is not without its problems but I don't think anyone has had as much aggro with it as you. You must be absolutely hacked off with it. Do you have consumer laws and 'fit for purpose' as the device they are flogging is clearly not fit for purpose. I truly hope you get sorted because as much as I love my X10, I would be pulling my hair out in your position.

Hi.

Which network are you with and what FW are the replacements coming with? Seems strange that someone is having so many issues with numerous phones so are you sure it's not something your doing? Might also be an idea to root and install Titanium Backup which will make reflashing a whole lot easier if you continue to have issues.
